Assuming that's like. That's like somebody, your friend borrows some money and. And you ask for it back. Like, I ain't got it. You see him wearing fresh sneakers? Yeah, I got it. I mean, son. Yeah. I just kind of felt like the universe owed that to me. Yeah, you ain't got the money. You were connected to me by your personal assistant. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Speaking of money, 20, 24, you win a MacArthur genius grant. Yeah. That was pretty cool. That was amazing. And did you. And they give. They give you, like, a pretty. A pretty big monetary grant. Yeah. No strings attached. Did you think at that time of repaying the loan? No, they're still calling me. I just forward it to the MacArthur people. No, you know what's funny is the MacArthur, when I got that grant, they were calling my assistant and trying through multiple avenues. They kept saying, we want Sterling on a panel. And I was like, I don't want to do a panel. And so I avoided them for, like, two weeks, just dodging them because I didn't want to do another panel. And finally, my assistant said, listen, take the call. Really? Yeah. So they called. They were like, you got a MacArthur Award. I was like, oh, man. MacArthur. People were like, this genius is an idiot. I know what's. But what's really funny about getting something that people call the genius grant is, like, that's not official, by the way. You just get made fun of. Like, all of my friends are like, oh, look, it's the genius just watching. Yeah. Ethan Hawk, who's in my show, the Lowdown. He'll be like, oh, he's a genius. The genius is talking. Everyone, I got to ask you one last thing, which is you've been. Become very successful, but you still live in Oklahoma. Yeah. You shoot all your shows in Oklahoma. Yep. Do you have a beef with. With that Sylvester Stallone show Tulsa King, which supposedly takes place in Tulsa, but they film in Atlanta. That's right. You know, I have my I have company T shirts, and on the back, it's a quote from Sylvester Stallone when he shot the pilot in Oklahoma. And he said, shoot.
