Some of this passion will die away and time is a great healer. And these voters, these black and brown voters and the other people who are outraged will come back to them. Yes or no? True. False. I think you'll win a few people over. I'm not gonna lie. I was really moved by Edmulliban's performances after they announced the Foreign Secretary of the uk. Yeah, after they announced the settler sanctions. I thought that the settler sanctions policy itself was a bit of a cop out, but I was more impressed by how he argued for it. Yeah, right. And this is a presentation of sanctions on West Bank. Yes. This was important to hear because I think like the level of cognitive dissonance, it was almost for me, I, I experienced it as a, as a form of mental injury. Right. The fact that there was all this pain and all the suffering and yet not a single person was happy to talk about it in government in a way that was not kind of prevaricating or hedging or topping and tailing with, with Israel's right to defend itself. But the problem with Gaza and the problem with the entire Palestinian question of statehood and self determination is that Israel is not going to let up. Because in the wake of October 7, the Israeli authorities under particularly right wing ministers have accelerated what was already a really untenable SO situation. De Facto annexation is happening, settler attacks are increasing. But you know, this is an age old conflict and it's really complicated and really nuanced. That ain't going to happen anymore. So western politicians can try as much as possible to try and contain and return to the status quo. But the facts on the ground and events on the ground are just going to get worse because Israel is not going to withdraw from the West Bank. If anything, it's in the throes of this like punch drunk assault now because there is a license and a permission for it because there's kind of post 10-7-Right to defend yourself. So how does that cash out in terms of the kind of the, the impact on Western politics, on the kind of, I think the public revulsion. I think unless, unless Western politicians, I'm speaking particularly about the US now and unless there is a real material break with Israel, it's going to remain a live issue. And it's interesting how.
