Do a Michelle Branch lip sync video at this point. Let's do it. Bring it full circle. I'm gonna play you and Maren in just a second. Of course. Goodbye to you. Hold on. I also want to play the game of love. It's just so good. Michelle Branch is here and we're talking about everywhere and back again. The EP, it's coming up March 12th. These collaborations, I want to hear. You're not giving us the list of names who we haven't heard of yet. So I'm not. I'm not even going to ask. I don't like to jinx one. Just one. I don't want to jinx it because. Don't do it. So I'm now Elton John. I wish, actually. That's an amazing idea. Taylor Swift. I'm not gonna lie. I did reach out to Taylor Swift's publicist, who was my old publicist in the writers tree Pain. Yeah. I reached out to her and I was like, hey, I'm doing this project. And she didn't write me back. So I did. I did try to ask. That's not cool. I did. I'm gonna let you know that story. Yeah. Thanks for sharing. So you said something a moment ago. We're talking about 20 years of, as you brilliantly said, Gandhi, songwriting and performing. You said something a second ago, Michelle. You said, well, I'm back. Meaning you were gone. Meaning you stepped back. So did you just put your guitar down for 18 years? No, it never stopped. I just, you know, I have young kids, and it's taken up a lot of my bandwidth. And now I feel like I'm finally in a place where I'm like, okay, things at home are good, the kids are older, they're in school. I can start actually, like, going on tour, having a life and having my career back, you know? So I. I've never stopped writing and making records, but I just haven't had the time to, like, really fully commit in a way that I used to, you know? So sometimes we'll have an artist in here and we haven't heard from them in a while. Oh, God. And someone in the room will say, and I hate it when they do it. Oh, my God, it's good to have you back. And they look at them with the look of hell. I never went away. Oh, I'm not going to name names. So we just assume if we hear your song, you're still doing things. But if we don't hear your song, you've been hid in a cave somewhere. No, I'VE just been, you know, mom lifing it. And what if the kids want to do this for a living? What if they like Mom? I want to sing. Yeah. Any music in your family? My youngest who's going to be five in February, she wants to have pop star themed birthday when she turns 5 and she said girls only. And we all have to dress up like.
