For at least 24 hours. Yeah, I made the wrong choice. Yeah. Okay, so we had. Oh, we had a great breakfast. It turned out we used to work at the same grocery store when we were teenagers. Not at the same time, but we had the same creepy manager. Okay. And everything went really well. It was a really awesome date. And I thought for sure there'd be more, right? Oh, you. You thought there'd be more? As in, like, you would spend more time hanging out together afterwards? Yeah. Or at the very least, like some making out in the parking lot. Wow. Yeah. At the least. Yeah. That's what I want. After biscuits and gravy is a hot makeout. Wait, why did you say that? How did the drive back to her place, though? It's so funny to me. No, I had a good feel, a good read on the situation. But it's probably my fault because I actually forgot my keys in the diner. I had to run back in and like, you guys know how, like, a moment like that could just fall away. So what's happened since? Well, I took her home. We chatted on the way back. Everything was still fine. I was still kind of anticipating that things would get better, but she said goodbye. She kind of gave me a little hug and not even a kiss. And she hasn't responded to any of my text messages. I sent her another diner that I found, too. Her birthday, too, you know. Got it. But you're right, it does sound like somewhere along the line things went cold. And it's our job to turn on the stove and get it heated back up for you. Nothing worse than a cold breakfast. Yeah. Let's go, hotcakes. Brooke calls me that all the time. Call you Flopjack? Yeah, whatever you want to call me. We're going to call Terry and find out what's going on when we do your second date update right after this. Hold on. Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Second date update. I've learned my lesson. I'm not doing any metaphors for this recap. Just cold, hard facts. Or not even cold, hard ones. Just normal, regular facts. Thank you. Lukewarm. Because Paul met Terry on the apps. They both loved breakfast food. Passionate about it. So they decided to go to a diner that serves 24 hour breakfast. Great date. Yeah. Where things apparently went really well. The one issue Paul mentioned to us was he had printed out food reviews off of Yelp, trying to convince Terry to order the biscuits and gravy, but she went with pancakes instead. Instead? I mean, maybe she's a woman who doesn't like to be told what to do. I feel that.
