Kind of had a different take. He said what happened in Texas was an extinction level event. Yeah. And if they can't get Texas and Iowa and Kansas back, then they are not going to be a viable party. That those are really strong words. They are. But when you look at the size of Texas, when you're competing for electoral college votes against places like New York and California that tend to be really far left, they are very high, highly populated. Republicans have held on to Texas as a prize. They didn't think it would ever be disrupted with this earthquake that it had this week. I think he's right. When you talk about ever being able to win at the national level again, you're going to have to reclaim territory that not just went purple, it went blue. I mean, it completely flipped a place like Texas where nearly every statewide race, I mean, from the governor on down in the US Senate, it just is something that if Republicans can't figure out where voters were so angry and disillusioned with them that they can claw back Texas, it's gonna be really hard to win on the national level. Yeah. Wonderful. Also have a demographic conversation too, after Covid and seeing all the movement across the country to places like Texas and North and South Carolina. Shannon, before I let you go, I just want your take a little bit on some of the foreign policy news we have really coming up because the first lady hosted Russian and Ukrainian representatives at the White House Thursday after negotiating this brief cease fire in one area of Ukraine. But this is importantly ahead of a trilateral meeting with representatives from Ukraine and Russia and us in Abu Dhabi. Are there new hopes here or do midterms factor in at all or is this its own thing? Yeah, I mean, it feels like the thing that President Trump ran on in 24 was we're going to get this thing done. We're going to have off ramps, we're going to settle this. I know all the parties involved. It's been a real ongoing frustration for MAGA voters and for people in general and certainly the Ukrainians and Russians where, I mean, hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost in this grind. When you go into the winter, it's exciting, exceptionally brutal, and it looks like we're gonna have another winter of death and destruction over there. So, you know, we try not to get too excited because there are in so many different meetings and so many different summits and trying to get something done. We want to keep hope alive. But neither party seems ready to meet in a place that would actually put, you know, an exclamation point on ending this thing. And there's also all of this with Iran now, now that the midterms are behind us, is there going to be, you know, kinetic action again? What's Israel.
