Historic victory. Nancy Pelosi becomes the first female speaker of the House. We have all these new people, John Tester coming, all these new Democrats, we use them. They get sworn in on January 3rd. On January 13th, Barack Obama announced he's running for president. Two weeks later, Hillary Clinton announced she's running for president. No one ever sees the Hill ever again. And so I don't think it'll be like that this time. That was obviously like a titanic once in a century presidential primary. But at some point when the debates start over the summer, that's going to become the face of the party. And there's great risk in that. And that was a great risk in 2019 because we talked about everything other than the things people cared about. Have you guys sort of thought about like what advice you would give candidates about not just how for them to win the primary, but for the best face they could put forward for the party, for whoever the eventual nominee is? Just the one thing I'll say about this and it goes back to my community, I don't know if there's a way to do this, but it feels like there should be some kind of a non aggression pact that just kind of keeps people from like tearing each other's faces off. Like it's not like they shouldn't have a competition of ideas, but it almost feels like this kind of success you could rewrite the way that you do the primary, which is to say a bunch of the Democrats say like, hey, there's a bunch of different ideas out here, like let's go around and instead of just like letting. We don't have to do politics the way we used to do politics. You don't have to let NBC set you up for a debate. And to Sarah, have you met Twitter? Boy, has Sarah met Twitter. What do you mean all about tearing each other's face off? Incidentally, I do have a bit of a Twitter face ripping off problem myself. And so I, I understand. Physician heal thyself on this, but I just for the candidates it does feel like let us rip the faces off and let the candidates say there is an opportunity for us to all sit down and debate these ideas in really good faith and not destroy each other over it so that they can move in to 2028 with not exactly a unified front, but with a sense that this is a good faith effort to do something great for the American people and not just a factional fight. And then the other thing I'll say, just because I wanted to mention this before, there's going to be a real tricky point here on a couple of places. One is, you guys may have heard that not everybody's super psyched about Hakeem Jeffries or Chuck Schumer being the next leaders and. Okay. But also, do you guys want to have a big, nasty fight as your first thing right after.
