Host reminisces about guitar skills and dating

Like, guitar is fine. It's fine. A lot of people play guitar. Guitar got me through so many, like, high school parties. Like, I was the man at the party because I played guitar. What was your go to song? Probably a lot of 90s at that point. So, like, matchbox 20. I would do 3am I must be lonely. That's kind of my go to. Well, girls like that. Yes. Oh, my gosh. Do you know any more Matchbox? Yeah, I did a little push. Yeah. Long day. Did the whole album. Would you want to play so people would pay attention to you? So girls would pay attention to you? That's kind of why I started, because my. My brother played and he was really, really good, and I just never got better. And he taught me, like, a couple chords. But then once I played my first song to, like, a girl at a party, like, it's over. I gotta keep learning. Did it allow. Did you have luck with women after parties because of the guitar? Yeah, dude. I was the man at these parties. Oh, my gosh. We need confirmation somewhere. No. My wife literally was telling stories to my kids, like, just a couple days ago, about how she fell in love with me because I was playing guitar at a party. It was a thing, man. Would you bring your own or would you just happen to find one? Depended. Usually I would wait for someone to be like, hey, dude, you come to the party, bring your guitar. You got it? Then that's when I would bring it. But sometimes, dude, if there was a piano at the party. Get out of here. Long December comes out. You play that once all. Yes. And then everyone's like, oh, my gosh, Eddie's playing the piano. Cool, dude. I was definitely the guy. Is it weird when you say that about yourself? No, that was a long time ago. But I feel like he's not lying. I feel like he's not embellishing the story. Why would I lie to you guys? Like, I'm just telling you that I don't know why. The best. The benefits I got from playing music at a party were, like, amazing. Okay. So would you recommend to your sons to learn an instrument? If they said, dad, what get. If they said, dad, what gets me chicks? What would you say? Guitar. Like, Well, I mean, they're at. They're athletic, so I'm like, play football. Like, I think that's automatic. You got to be good at football. Yeah, but those guys always got Football players, always got chicks. Okay. Secondary play guitar. The. The bad thing about football. And listen, I played football in high school, but the bad thing about football is it runs out after high school. You go to college, you're not cool anymore because you don't play college football. So now you have nothing except stories about when you played high school football. And that makes you less cool. Yeah.
